In the 1940s the Brown Fellowship Society's Cemetery was purchased by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston, so that a parking lot could be paved for Bishop England High School. A new property was purchased off of Cunnington Avenue in North Charleston to be used as the Society's cemetery.
