Septima Clark’s family lived on Henrietta Street for much of the 20th century. They rented their home until 1948, when Clark was finally able to afford to purchase it. The house, which no longer exists, was located on property that is now the parking area for Emanuel AME church, one of the churches the Poinsette family attended. Download Original File
